Old Parish Church
The church dates from 1100-1200 and was originally constructed with a sturdy chestnut wood floor later replaced by a vault of masonry.
The beautiful bell tower in local stone is still used as a surveying reference point today.
The frame of the wooden roof was severely damaged by a fire that destroyed much of the town - retaliation against the partisans by the Republicans of the Alba garrison under the command of Captain Languisco.
This old and unique monument recently underwent major strengthening work and is now awaiting final completion and reassessment.
